Alison Wood appointed to BSI Board

BSI, the business standards company, today announced the appointment of Alison Wood as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Alison was formerly Global Director of Strategy and Corporate Development for National Grid plc from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, Alison spent nearly twenty years at BAE Systems plc where she was responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business development. 

Alison is currently a Non-Executive Director of Costain Group plc, E2V Technologies plc and Cobham plc. Her previous Non-Executive Director positions have included BTG plc and Thus Group plc.
